This is the first of these we've come across. An exquisite aesthetic movement Japonaise style brass, copper and porcelain finial with polychrome and gilt decoration. See close-up below. English or French. Possibly for a clock case. The finial itself is 5 by 2.5 inches. With the base it stands 9 inches tall.
